Option to change quality notification type not available

Hi,

I am trying to change the quality notification type (in transaction - QM02) from one notification type to another notification type. As per system configuration settings, the notification types are maintained as allowed for changing the notification type.

However, the option of changing the quality notification type is not available on the screen of QM02.

Can anyone guide on this issue?

Is there any config missing?

Hi Prashant,

As per my knowledge once the notification created we can't able to change the notification type.

so please set the deletion flag for the existing notification and create new notification with reference to the old notification here you have a track i.e. the new notification got created from which notification (Reference)

I don't think that this is correct, According to this SAP help document, changing the notification type should be possible: https://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/3b/d1f43423b8495ba4b99ccd7a3ee29f/frameset.htm

Nonetheless we have the same issue, that we can't change the notification type, even with the customizing and SAP_ALL...

The button to change the notification type, SAP mentioned, can't be found.

Hi Prashant,

Make sure in configuration that your Target (new) notification type is in second column.

Also check the User is authorized or not (SU53).

hi,

If u create the notification through IQS21 and in IQS22 there is a possibility of changing the notification type, I think in QM02 it is not possible to change the notification type
