Dear QM experts,

after an inspection lot will be created I start to do the inspection by usning of QE51N, and when I have some failed characteristic following pop-up comes up and I have to tipp an error code:

The question: how can I avoid this pop-up? My process doesn't need any error code.

Hello Denis,

As suggested by our friend Saravanakumar

you can remove the defect recording indicator from the MIC (Master inspection characteristic) control indicators, then system will not populate any defect recording if you enter the incorrect results

but for that particular MIC it will show major defect in the inspection lot display..

hence you have make the UD Forcefully

@ Thanks Sarfaraz and Saravanakumar..

Venkatesh..

Hi Venkatesh,

thanks for the feedback.

Well I got only quality characteristics (yes or no) without lower/upper limit.

May be the problem once again: when the result of the characteristic is negativ (no) --> no error code shal be used. Well I just wann deactivate this pop-up where i'll be ask for the entering of the code.

Hello Denis,

You have make the MIC is a quantitative only

if you will not define any upper limit hope system will allow you to enter the any results

Please try and get back the same

Hi Venkatesh,

what is MIC?

Well my characteristics are ONLY qalitative. Is there any way to avoid the assign of the error code to the qualitative characteristic?

Hi,

There is a control indicator in the MIC "defect recording" (I am not sure for qualitative MIC but for quantitative it is there), if it is selected then you would see a defect recording window pop up when the MIC is rejected.

Could you plz check.

yes, please check the MIC's control indicator in which defect recording indicator is enabled then by default if observed values not lies between your spec. then system will direct you to update the defect code. please untick the defect recording your pop up for defect recording will not come

thanks

Hello Denis,

As we  will maintain the lower / Upper limit in the MIC through QS21 transaction

as per the results if you enter the exact results between these ranges then system will take it as accept

if the results beyond the between ranges then it will show as a rejected

hence please remove the upper limit and try
