HI Ram,

The query will fetch the new data from the base cube only as the data is not rolled out in the aggregate.

Hope it helps...let me know

Hello Ram,

In this case the query will take the data from the cube.

depending on the selection conditions in query, the appropriate aggregate is picked up during run time, but if the data is not rolled out in the aggregate and is available in the base cube, the query will fetch data from the base cube only...

hope it helps..

thanks,

Hi ABY,

Then generally we say if data is not rolled to aggregate it is not available for report. then how can this happen in this case.

Hi,

When ur executing a query the OLAP processor searches for the data in the appropriate Aggr’s. if the OLAP processor is not found the appropriate Aggr then it will search data in the cube. From ur question the data is not rolled out into the aggr,so the OLAP processor will fetch the data from the cube.

Thanks,

Shreya

hi ram,

While executing a query the OLAP processor searches for the necessary data in the aggregates ( if present ). if the data is present then it is fetched from aggregates. if not then it will search in the cube. So for your question, it fetches data from cube.

cheers
