SUM SP 16

Hi !

I've started SUM SP16 SP 6 & given the path of the Maintenance Planner XML file.

However, the tool refuses to accept it

The file exists at the correct location.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Please help advise...

Managed to get this working...

For others who may run into this:

1. SUM must be placed in /usr/sap/SID/

2. Hostagent level should match with what's defined in the SUM Note

3. Permissions for SUM sidadm:sapsys/777

4. Start SUM with root using ./STARTUP confighostagent SID

5. Then use Chrome/Firefox to start the UI (IE did not work for me)

Hi Saba,

Could you please put the .xml file in you stack location Don't put in you derived location of stack file.

Example:<stacklocation>/.xml file(Correct)

               <Stacklocation>/<Addon file>/.xml(Incorrect)

All my downloads are in UI_ADDON.

Hope you are doing good.

Are you certain that you are using the latest sum version? The reason I ask is that the last we saw this error was on SUm Sp 09 versions .

Hi Saba,

Message on SUM screen itself says to specify the stack.xml file. So you need to specify complete location including the xml file name. Providing only the location where you have kept the xml file will not work.
