"Does not match component version" status in Import queue

Dear Gurus,

Hello to all

i have refreshed my QAS with PRD.After re-configuring STMS(consistent) . issue arose in QAS first .
I followed note 168810/1581638. and set parmater sp_trans_sync to off for QAS .Issue resolved in QAS.
Again same issue occured during import in PRD.
i did the same for PRD in DC System set the param-sp_trans_sync to off but this time issue not resolved.

Although i select ignore component version in OPTION tab and changes took place...but i want to remove this status now.

STMS configuration is okay and consistent,

Kindly guide.

Hello ,

From where this Transport is coming ?

Since you said that issue arise in QAS at first and then resloved after parameter set and now issue in PRD (this means both QAS and PRD are same version).

Please comare source system version of this transport and see any différences.

Regards,

Srini

Hi Kumar,

Completely re-configure your stms below(Delete all TMS configuration first) ;

  1. 1.     Logon on to client 000 of the newly COPIED system  with DDIC.
  2. 2.     Execute transaction SE06
  3. 3.     Select the Database Copy or migration option
  4. 4.     Press the Post-installation Processing button.
  5. 5.     When prompted Do you want to re-install the CTS? Press the Yes button
  6. 6.     When prompted forthe Source System of Database Copy?, make sure that the <SID> of the production system is selected.  Press the checkmark button to continue.
  7. 7.     When prompted Change originals from PRD to QUA?, press the Yes button
  8. 8.     When prompted Delete TMS Configuration?, press the Yes button
  9. 9.     When prompted Delete old TMS configuration?, press the Yes button
  10. 10.     When prompted Delete Old Versions of transport routes?, press the Yes button

Sir,
Thanks for the response--answers are-

1--all are same level

2-STMS re-configured after system refreshed---"file??"can you please explain
STMS is ok and consitrn in DC and all systems in group.DEV is DC.

3-without selecting that "ignore component version" no transport is possible in LS.

again i would like to draw your attention firstly when i face this issue very soon after refresh i simply change the parameter for QAS in DC system. and everythhing became fine.

but when it (TR) comes to the PRD and i tried to import it even after setting parameter SP_TRANS_SYNC=off it dint make any diffrenece .

how it is possible once it worked and afterward didnt.

Hi Kumar.

I think in your DC you have to delete the QAS & Rejoin the transport
