Bex query doesn’t execute on Portal and works in Bex (for the selecting key figures)

We are facing one strange issue when we execute the Bex query in Sap Portal 7.02 (SAP_BW 740)

For one of the specific key figure value when we select the Drag and Drop for one of the filter (Say x) the system takes too long (around 12 – 15 mins) after the mentioned time, screen refreshes and no changes in the Portal. Whereas all the remaining key figures are working fine.

Say for example we have key figure a1, a2, a3…… when we drag and drop filter (say x) the report working fine except one of the Key figure (a3) . But all the other drag and drop (x and a1, x and a2) works fine in Portal. Same issues we have tested with different users in Portal.

When we try to simulate the same issue using query analyzer for the same (X and a3) combination and the same user (drag and drop) it still working fine and provides the correct output.

Not sure the same scenario working fine in query analyzer and why it is not working in Portal.

Any pointers please, how to fix this issue
