BSEG table not updating Asset number in (ALNL1)

Hi Experts,

My client wants the value posted in currency translation GL based on individual asset number.

When I checked it in BSEG I come to know that asset number field in the BSEG is not field.

When I tried to execute FAGLL03 also for currency translation GL ,definitely it will not be there as it is not in BSEG.( I have attached a excel file with example)

So my question is how to get asset value in BSEG-ALNL1 field for currency translation GL??

Your help will be highly appreciated.

I dont think this is possible. You cant post translation values at the level of each asset in FI

My understanding is foreign currency translation, happens based on open line item of GL, Customer and vendor.

if any GL balance pertains to Asset is considered in translation process.

1. Now my question is before deriving the amount for translation ,can we determine asset number which contribute to the balance on the GL for translation if yes can you please guide me on it how?

2. If answer of the above question is NO then I am ready to customized a program for it  so wanted to know how we can match the GL Balance with individual list of asset?

If any where on my thought or question please correct me.

you can try view V_FAGL_FCBAL, but I'm not sure if it will work,

also it's difficult to predict the side effect of this

The values are stored in ANLC, and transactions are stored in ANEK/ANEP.
