Analysis for Office 2.2SP2 Use Variant

Hi - I am looking at Analysis for Office 2.2 SP2 and found that the Use Variants do not behave the same compared to 1.4 SP10. I am able to use and save in 1.4 but not in 2.2. Same exact report with same exact BW system and same user (Me). Anyone have any experience with this?
