Hi All
I had created a user in the EP 7.0 system with super_admin rights. Then we deceided to apply LDAP for the Portal (Microsoft ADS).
We were successful in applying the LDAP and it is working fine, but when we try to delete the user already created, it is giving an error "Unable to delete user.contact your system administrator".
Has anyone faced this error, any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Regards
Senthil
Hi Senthil,
This error generally occurs when there is an authorization issue.. You may not have authorization to delete users.. Try to check the log and send the log to diagnose the actual problem..You can also delete users in Visual Admin..

Hi Senthil,
There might be two reasons for the same.
a) The user with whom you have registered for LDAP connectivity should be a admin user in directory server
having authorization for all admin related activities.
b) The portal might require a SSL layer to have a secured connection to perform admin related operations like "delete", "change pasword: etc.
You may refer to the following link for establishing SSL
connection between LDAP directory server(and also UME configuration to point LDAP server) and portal server.
