Hi,
I am working for SOAP to RFC synch interfaces. For synchronous ionterfaces any failed messages will go to cancell status not for error state.
for this cancell message I need an alert. How would I set up this cancelled message alerts using CBMA. Prsently I am in SAP PO 7.4 single stack..
One more query...
In Alert rule I checkec channel statsu check box for inactive channel but If I stop the channel I am not getting the alerts. I am getting alert only for error messages in message monitor.
DO I need to do any settings in NWA for cancell message alerts and channel stop message alerts....
Thanks,
Sreenivasa
Hi Sreenivas,
Didn't you create the default alert rule? if you create default alert rule it will cater for all types of errors.
If you create separate alert rule make sure you selected the error status in the alert rule which you getting at runtime.
For example if you get these errors at runtime for cancelled messages
then you need to select these statuses in the alert rule then you will receive alerts for these messages.

Yeah i did the same already, that what you have shown...
One more question Praveen How do we set alert mail for ecc errors. I mean in proxy to file interface. while sending the data from ECC message has been failed and error is shown in SXMB_MONI. so, for this situation How i should raise an alert.
I am using SAP PO single stack.
Thanks,
Sreenivasa
Hi Praveen,
I already done those configuration and tried to send fail messages from Proxy and it is showing an error in SXMB_MONI of ecc. But I am not getting the alert mail.....
I have created RFC destination in ECC with the same name and program ID.
and maitaing NWA parameters...
I stopped the chanel and run proxy from ECC. In sxmb_MOni of ecc failied with error. But I didnt get an alert for this...
any Suggestions Plss....
Thanks,
Sreenivas
Hi Sreenivas,
Did you check the configuration?
Go to NWA->Operations->Java Scheduler ->Jobs. and find out the jobs which is converting error message to cancel status.
Check the messages logs.
Go through the below links
