Hi Santhosh,

Do you need check:

1) Material type:  That materials are valuated or not

If materials are ROH, they are valuated.

If another type of material, you have to talk to your IT support or process people who know the types of materials of your company.

2) BOM: Inside BOM (CS03), go to the component detail > Status/long text (screen) > field: CostingRelevn  - If you are with the "X" means that the cost of the material will be relevant to the production.

See too, if component should not be a Bulk material indicator (same screen)

What  transaction code do you using for costing BOM ?

Hi Dimas,

Thanks for the reply...

1. How can i check materials are valuated or not? But i'm sure thats a ROH type. please tell me how to check.

2. Its fine, costing relevancy check mark ticked.

Bulk material indicator was un-checked.

for costing bom transaction i check with CK13N.

Hi Santhosh,

1) Material type - Go to MM03 > material number > enter > mark Basic data 1 > ENTER >  click icon " i " color blue¨ - righ side ( information about material)

If you are unsure about the type of material and whether it is valued, need to ask for someone to Ti support or process

2) item 2 - is right

3) Sometimes, some materials has its price very  low - You got that?

You have to see the price and the unit price

If the price is $ 1  and unit price =  1000 - then the price is $ 0.001 - for SAP is zero

4) Run the CK13N with current date or date the beginning of the next month, only for you to check if the values appears.

5) In its CK13N appears all materials BOM?

Hi Santhosh,

materials are valuated or not - configuration - transaction: OMS2

Example: material type: UNBW - Nonvaluated materials  (standard material type)

Field: Price control is blank

Look others material type, for example: ROH

Do you do item 4 and 5 ?

Hello,

Subject of your discussion and the description seems to be same.

Please use relevant Subject with detailed  description.

Do you have an issue with costing of the BOM components or with Itemization of cost component structure?

Also share the screen shot if possible.

Hi Brahmankar,

Thanks for the reply...

I'm sorry, i'm new to this community, next time whenever i open any thread i'll keep in mind to update it appropriately.

I'm having an issue in itemization of cost component strucure...

Lets say in detail, In BOM- Level-1-Assy underneath there are 5 components as a Level-2.

When i run the Level-1-Assy through MM03- Costing-2 window, under the Standard cost estimate - Current --- it shows only 3 components in Level 2, now why its not showing the remaining 2 components is a my question?

What i'm missing here? Please suggest me...

Just an FYI, i'm an end user...

Thanks & Regards,

Santhosh.

Hi,

Maybe the problem is the Qty Structure Date defined during the costing run.

When you run product costing, you have to indicate what is the validity date to read the structure of your product.

Could happen that you have modified your BOM starting from 31.03.2016. In this case, if when you run product costing, the date entered to read the structure is 30.03.2016, you will not consider the modification done on 31.03.2016.

Hi Mariano,

Thanks for your time to given me the reply.

We are not changing any dates, when i enter the t-code, it automatically shows todays date, we put the part no. and execute it, then also it missing some parts in the structure BOM. why?

Also we see the cost structure through MM03 - enter an material no.---go to costing-2---under the  Standard Cost Estimate---Click on Current and it'll displays the Material Cost Estimate with Quantity Stucture,so here only when click the arrow mark down then BOM structure shows with price, here only i noticed that it missed the some material no's which is already updated in the BOM (CS02).

So can you suggest me why its missing or any other way to get a Cost structure with all BOM parts involved?

Santhosh.

Hello,

Please check these components  details in BOM CS03 they should mark for Costing relevant  = X.

And component should not be a Bulk material.

Also the share the screen shot

Hi Brahmankar,

Yes, parts is checked mark for 1.costing relevancy (X) in CS03, and

2. In MM03, material status is not set for Block for purchasing or obsolete.

3. In MRP2, its unchecked for Bulk material window,

4. In Accountig-1, price & values are maintained.

5. In costing-1, Do not cost is unchecked

Everything looks correct but still in MM03 - costing-2--- Std.cost estimate--- current was not showing the correct structure whichever is there in CS03-BOM.

What else i'm missing, please help.
