Question regarding s/4HANA configuration

Hello all,

I am looking for a bit of help regarding a question I am faced with for a paper I am writing. The paper is on issues and challenges in configuring SAP, and for my paper I wanted to specifically write about the challenges and differences between traditional configuration in ECC / R/3 vs. s/4HANA and SAP activate's take on config.

In particular, I can't find any articles on specific ISSUES or CHALLENGES with s/4hana configuration, so I was wondering if anyone could provide a few known challenges - or even provide some challenges in traditional configuration so that I can compare with benefits of guided-config. Please note this is specific to configuration, but general implementation challenges or issues are fine too.

In addition, if anyone has any whitepapers or case studies regarding organizations who have/plan to implement s4Hana that would also be much appreciated!!!

Thank you very much!

    Hi Ryan.

I would suggest taking a look at the Simplification List as well. This list if you're not already aware of is a document which shows the changes which have been made in SAP S/4 Hana. It also tells you about business processes which are and are not available or have been replaced (Simplified) from traditional ECC versions. This can help you with your paper from a configuration point.
