How to activate Year interval in Number Range Object

Dear Experts,

One of our client already deactivated year interval for CIN number ranges objects

J_1IINTNUM

J_1IRG23A1

J_1IRG23A2

Client has already deactivated year interval and maintaining number ranges as below:

01   0000000001     9999999999

Now they want year dependent number range as below:

01     2016     0000000001     9999999999

When I am trying to change through J1I9 for object J_1IINTNUM system shows me To-year flag as greyed field so I am unable to reset.

When did the To Year Flag unchecked from the Number ranges object? Have you posted any Excise documents after unchecking the flag?

I am afraid that this will cause impacts in the Excise transactions.

Hi,

There are number of documents posted for unchecked year of intervals.

Now from new fiscal year i.e. April 1st. client wants to activate Year intervals again.

I think you will face issue while reading the Previously posted excise documents with out Year. By the way, Can you share the screenshot of Number range object change?

I checked in Tables there is year updated.

Go to SNUM or J1I9 and input the desired object and click on change button and share the screenshot
