Hello,
We are changing SAP System SID and Database SID using SWPM.
TS1 is our new SAP and DB SID
In Rename/Config database step, we are getting below error.
An error occurred while processing option System Rename > Central System > SAP System Rename( Last error reported by the step: Error return code. DIAGNOSIS: Return code 14 of executable D:\oracle\TS1\11203/bin/oradim indicates an error. SOLUTION: For more information, see log file oradim.log.). You can now:
Choose Retry to repeat the current step.
Choose Log Files to get more information about the error.
Stop the option and continue later.
oradim.log shows below error message
Instance created.
DIM-00019: create service error
O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.
sapinst.log shows below error

Hello All,
Sorry for late reply.
We did not get any solution and we were running short of time. So, we stopped changing the DB SID using SWPM and reverted it back manually.
SAP SID change step was already completed using SWPM.
Got the DB SID Changed by our DB Team and then performed post steps to start the SAP System with New SAP SID and DB SID.
Thanks,
Parin Hariyani

Hi Atul,
The link shows the exact problem which I face. But, its not answered. I am still facing the same issue. I am not able to understand whether its the error with oracle installation or OS error.
Its not able to set the correct path for Oracle Service OracleServiceTS1 in our case. It sets some orant/bin/ORACLE.EXE TS1 path whereas ORACLE.EXE is located in path D:\Oracle\TS1\11203\BIN\ORACLE.EXE TS1
I am able to change the path manually for the service created but when I again start the SWPM with sapinst.exe, it again fails as it sets the path orant\BIN\ORACLE.EXE TS1
Quick help is appreciated.
