Hi BEx Gurus,
I have designed a report, where in I do not want the line item values to sum up (sub total). Ideally, I need to suppress repeated key values for my key figures appearing in columns in the report.
I have tried suppressing repeated key values in query properties but it is not working. Can you please provide your suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
Manu.
Hi,
There are two options for resolving this issue.
1. In the query design
2. After executing the query.
1. In the query design.
Go into the change mode of the query.
Click on the icon - Query Properties
Click on the tab - Disply
Check the box -- Hide repeated key values
Save the query.
This option would always hide the repeated key values for all users who execute the query.
2. After execution of the query
Run the query
Right click on any cell in the query and choose Properties
Check the box against -- Suppress Repeated Key Values
Click OK
This option will suppress repeated key values only when requested specifically by each user.

jess

"Suppress repeated key values" is not for suppressing Keyfigure values...it's for characteristics..
