MDG Consolidation for custom objects?

I am looking for a while now without any result. MDG 8.0 ships Consolidation for business partners (supplier and customers). With the next release is planned to ship Consolidation for materials, too. My question right now is if it is possible to use MDG Consolidation for custom objects at the moment. Is there a new framework especially for Consolidation or will Consolidation use the MDG framework?
