Include few tables like SFOBUEV000 in the ERP full client transfer

Hi,

Few tables like SFOBUEV000 are not included in the standard solution for transfer and are set to be 'no transfer'.

I am aware of a view V_CNVMBTCOBJ where you can set the Transfer status.

But i do not know at what stage do i need to set it and if i have to redefine my migration objects once i do this.

1) Could you please explain me the process of Transfering a table that is set to 'no transfer' in a standard solution. ?

Might be there is another way

2) Also these tables are required for us going forward. What if i do not want to do the selection everytime. Is there anyway Sap can help me make this configurations permanent that way we do not have to bother everytime.

There are other tables which are in the similar scenario that should be transfer and so is my question to guru's.

Thanks

Adithya B

Hello Aditiya,

You can set a table whihc is marked for no transfer to transfer using the optional activity in an ERP TDMS package called Specify Reduction Rules for Tables in the package settings phase.
If you are not able to change the status of a particular table using this activity, then it is better to created an OSS incident as this has been intentioanlly disabled for that particular table.

With respect to including a new table, just creating an entry in CNVMBTCOBJ will not work. The best approach is to execute the troubleshooter activity Create flat migration object, in the Data Transfer Phase (Troubleshooter activity can be found in the troubleshooter page of Data Selection for All Tables Activity) and create a new flat object for the table you want to include in the transfer. This will make sure appropriate entries are created in all the relevant back end tables.

I hope i was able to provide you an appropriate answer to your queries.

Thanks,

Hello Sreejith,

We have maintained the Table inclusion/exclusion parameters in CNVMBTCOBJ and have found it to be working in the past. This updates the TDTIM template to ensure Future packages creation take this table into consideration. Please advise if this has changed in newer SPs.

Hi Sreejith,

I do not see any option called ' Specify Reduction Rules for Tables ' in Package settings phase.

I heard of this option before too but never found it in the ERP full client copy option.

Attaching the picture of the options that i see.

Could you clarify why this is not available.

Hello Adithya,

Full transfer package will not have Specify reduction rules because this package transfers tables in full. Only reduction scenario packages for e.g. Time based solution for ERP, SRM, CRM etc would have this activity.

Hope this clarifies your query.

Thanks and Regards,

You can maintain the tables to be included/excluded in TCode CNVMBTCOBJ. Once you save the changes in a package the changes are applied to the Template and will reflect in future packages.
