I have found the resolution as below: -

In warehouse number control unit of length is maintained: 'M'. I changed it to 'FT' it is resolved. So the volume unit and unit of length should be in the same unit of measure. earlier it was in cubit foot and meter. it should be in foot and cubic foot/meter and cubic meter.

Hi,

Did you maintain the conversions in the product master unit of measurement view? Transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1

should have to maintain the conversion from one unit of measurement to other alternate

unit of measurements.

Hi,

Could you maintain  the two separate lines for unit of measurement conversions and check .

1. EA to LB

2. LB to FT3.

Hi,

I do not think that you have to maintain any conversions. But something seems to be setup wrong.

Your log shows:

Weight: 41 LB are checked --> this comes from the item.

against free capacity 999.999.999.999,999 KG with tolerance 0 KG --> this comes from the bin. In here it says that the unit is KG. And the system is ok with it. But in your first mail you wrote:

"Please find warehouse number control settings for my warehouse

Weight Unit          LB"

And according to this message I would say that the first information is wrong.

Then the log continues

Volume: 495 FT3 are checked --> again, this comes from the item.

against free capacity 999.999.999.999,999 LB with tolerance 0 LB --> and now this is where your error comes from. Because it says the volume unit in the bin is LB. And of course there is no system conversion from FT3 to LB.

Your first mail says

"Please find warehouse number control settings for my warehouse

Weight Unit          LB                     Time Unit            MIN

Volume Unit          FT3                    Unit of Length       FT"

But according the log I would say - no, it is maintained differently. Or did you maybe make changes? And the bins were created before with wrong information? Can you show a screenshot of a bin?

Hi,

actually according the screenshot everything is setup ok. Is this really the bin GI-AREA?

If the issue persists, I would delete the bin, check the settings on warehouse number level, re-create the bin.

But actually the report you mentioned should straighten out everything...
