Hi All,

How to create Ad-Hoc Hierarchies/Ad-Hoc reports?

how to validating the data in Ods/infocube after each data load? how validation can be done

Hi Shreya,

<b>Ad-hoc hierarchies -</b> There are many instances when a user wants to view the data in hierarchial format and that too at short notice. In times like this you dont create/load the hierarchy in Dev and then transport them to Prod box. You would rather create a hierarchy manually in the Production box. Such hierarchies are Ad-hoc hierachies. You can create them in RSA1 -> Info-object -> <Your Info-object> -> Create hierarchy.

<b>Ad-hoc reports -</b> Similar to ad-hoc hierachies you would create ad-hoc reports in production box for users. But these reports would not be assigned to any role typically and remain in the favourites section.
