master and transaction data load

Hi all,

When we transfer the cube from business content to modelling (dev) and we are about to start loading data. If we have 0MATERIAL, 0VENDOR, 0COUNTRY similarly some infoobjects which have master data ( ATTR, TEXT and hierarchy)and then a data source for transaction data. Then what should be our procedure to load the data. Do we have to load the master data by creating different infopackages for every Infoobject and transaction data.

Please help.

Hi ,

You need to have separate infopakages for Master Data & Transaaction data. You can do a full upload for master data .

Yes...U have to create different InfoPackages for all the InfoObjects to load masterdata.

Hi KM,

Yes you need to load seperate infopackages for all the Infoobjects. You could schedule the seperate infopackages using a Process chain in a serial order, based on whether the previous load is successfully completed.

Once the Master data infoobjects have been loaded successfully then you can trigger the transaction infopackages again using the process chain.
