changing device status from esto to avlb

I want to transfer my device with status "AVLB" TO "ESTO"    

any suggestions for this process.

Form that thread I could see BAPI_EQUI_GETSTATUS to get status and you can change user statuses using ALM_ME_EQUI_USTATUS_CHANGE.

Hi Pankaj,

In case there is an integration with MM, goods return back to the stores using the standard MM transactions will change the status of the device to ESTO.

If you need to do it in a program, you may use the FM mentioned by Srinivasan.

Additionally, there is also an option in IQ02 screen.

IQ02-> Go to -> special serial number functions.

I do not have access to the system and cannot tell you the exact path right now but do explore some where around the above path.

Hi,

You can change the system status of any equipment from AVLB to ESTO by bringing the Equipment/Serial No. back to store (through GR with respective valuation type e.g. with Movement Type 501 or 101 as per your business process requirement).
