Hanging Central Management Console

HI,

I am attempting to update the rights for users on a few different reports in BOE Xi R2.

When i click on the rights tab in the CMC the site hangs.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get back the ability to update the users and groups who have rights to selected reports?

Thanks,

TerryG.

    Hi Terry,

Could you please RESTART the TOMCAT Server once. when ever we get this type of issues, we did like this only. So, please restart once.

    Regards,

We have updated the timeout for asp scripts

Ran rebuild of indexes and update of statistics

      Disabled the auditing services.

We are now able to get to the other tabs but the rights tab page is still hanging.

What needs to be done to clean up or maintain the database to allow the rights tab to work properly?

      Thanks,

      TerryG.

Try restarting both SIA (Server Intelligence Agent) and TOMCAT in the Central Configuration Manager.

    Hi,

    1. What kind of users are they? (Enterprise, AD or SAP)?

Do you see any error in event viewer?

    2. Are you using he direct tomcat URL or any load balancer?

    3. Stop Tomcat. Rename localhost to localhost_old. Then start Tomcat again.

    4. Clear your browser cache and then restart your browser.

    Thanks,

    Amritansh
