Data load error???

Hi Gurus,

We were loading data from R/3 to BW

to one of our cube the load was failed with status red when we when to psa to find out the error it was a record in 0calday ...it says the record is not plausible..

the record is <b>20730218</b>even though technically the year which is a billing year is not correct but logically the system should accept it becoz its in correct format right so why did the load failed...can somebody kindly explain it to me.

Hi Harish,

Yes, technically it is a correct date. But perhaps the 0calday info-object does not accept the date beyond a range. Also check if you have any other operations in the update rule based on this date which is causing the problem. Also check the base table for the 0calday.

yes, technically the format is correct YYYYMMDD, but it may not acceptable as mentioned by Dinesh, all date in bw has reference to 0date, you may try to check it. hope this helps.

you once check the alpha conversions checked for the 0calday. if it is okay u have to consult the basis people
