Blank error message in Lumira when saving to BI platform

Hey SCN-Community,

currently I´m facing the following problem. My current landscape:

- BIP 4.2 SP02

- LS4BIP (dedicated machine) 1.29.4

- Lumira Desktop 1.29.3

When I try to save an document to the BIP it brings an empty error message (without any text). The connection to the platform works fine.

I have checked KBA 2284499 - Blank error message in Lumira when saving to BI platform without LS4BIP but we have installed the LS4BIP 1.29.4 AddOn.

Any ideas?

I think with BI4.2 SP02 you will need the 1.30 Lumira BI add-on.  See SAP's Matt Shaw's tweet: Matthew Shaw auf Twitter: "BI 4.2 Support Pack 2 won't work with Lumira 1.29, need ...

Hi Tammy,

yesterday I install a fresh Lumira 1.30 and BIP 4.2 environment. Currently I´m getting the same empty error message. Any ideas?

Andre - a "fresh" install for Lumira add-on?  I would try the patch first, and not a fresh install, especially if Lumira had been there before.  Other than that I am fresh out of ideas (sorry)

Hi Tammy,

no we have made a complete fresh BIP and LS4BIP (other reason). Maybe we raise an OSS call.

Which version of SAP Lumira Desktop are you using? Is it 1.30?

Lumira v1.30 is due for release tomorrow, 18th March.

I spoke to SAP Last week who said this has been delayed a little but should be out this week. My guess is it will be Friday.
