How to test ETM Settlement

Hello,

I am attempting to add some ETM configuration to our installation. I am adding a new document type for shipping, new sales document type, new pricing procedure, new condition types etc. I want to test the configuration to see if the new prices will be used in creating the SD orders during settlement. I have trouble running ETM settlement (J3GZ). I keep getting messages that 1 SD Order prepared, SD Order created. However no SD order is created. Also, when I try to test again, I get messages that I have already settled for that date. Can settlement be run for 1 shipping document on a date, then run again for another shipping document on that date? Any guesses at why I cannot create an SD order? Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Tom

Hello,

I have found at least one discrepancy between our production and test systems with regard to pricing configuration. The entries in table T182I for access sequence PRSL are different. Production has only one entry (for table 999) while test has entries for 4 other tables 901-904. In test, while executing settlement, the program searches these other 4 tables for price conditions, but does not find anything and throws an error. Our conditions are in tables 960-963.

Using transaction J3G? I can see access sequence PRSL which is different between TEST and PROD. Via SPRO, Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions>Pricing>Define Access Sequences, I see Access Sequence J3GI which has the sequence that we use in ETM settlement - it has the entries for 960-963. Why would the configuration be different for PRSL between TEST and PROD? This is SAP configuration, so I suspect that someone in the past did not deliberately change PROD. How would I correct this? Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Tom
