Dear Gurus,
We have set tolerance key +50ml and set inside one of the mic of the parameter, at qs23, success.
But when we put in inside the task list at IA06, we have face error "Control indicator and tolerance key are not compatible".
Below are the setting:
Tolerance key = +50ml
Target value = 1000.0
Lower spec limit = 1000.0
Upper limit = 1050.0
Awaiting for you kind reply. Thanks!
Regards,
Nur
Hi Nur,
The tolerance key "+50ml" you are speaking about, seems to be custom tolerance key, and not a SAP defined one. Normally, in SAP, we get this based on ISO values w.r.t. limit deviation for shaft.
You can first check the below Config -
Quality Management => Quality Planning => Basic Data => Inspection Characteristic, Inspection Method > Define Tolerance Keys => Pick the tolerance Key (+50ml) and double click => You will get it's unit of measure [Most probably this is 'ml']
For the MIC you are using now, please check the MIC having what "UoM" (Unit of measure). If there are difference, you may get this error!!
Please suggest your observations.
Thanks,
Arijit

Dear Arjit,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, this is customized tolerance key.
The UOM in the img setting, as per said path, is set to 'ml'. For the MIC is also 'ml'. but, during set at IA06 , which is task list , it pop up error "control indicator and tolerance key are not compatible".
Kindly advise. TQ~

Nur
Hi Nur,
Please can you share the message number too.
Instead of using the tolerance key in the MIC in IA06, what happens, if you just press enter for the pop-up box, and then update the target value manually? Is that working there?
While we search for an answer, please can you also keep searching in SCN/SAP Notes/KBA for some further clues.
Thanks,
Arijit
