Export documentation (SOLAR) fra 7.1 to 7.2 ?

Hi People

We are planning to merge 3 productive solman's into 1.

Since we have to go from 3 installations to 1, we are considering doing a fresh new installation of 7.2, and importing data like documentation.

However, is this possible ?, will the project transfer, Work if we export from 7.1 and import to 7.2 ?

I understand that in 7.2 more layers are available in 7.2, will this be a issue ?

or mayby solar_migration trx code will Work ?

Any thoughts or tips is greatly appreciated.

Hi Kim.

If you are planning to update to 7.2 you have to undertake content activation. If you are merging more solmans into one you can prepare transports of your solutions or project and implemented them in your new solman. after that you have to go through content activation.

I strongly recommend to read this information. It will help you to properly prepare and do this activity.
