Hi,

I am installing SolMan 7.1 with Central System Option (Single Box)

Redhat Linux + DB2

I am Stuck in "Start Instance" Phase

Installation Log -

Hi Pradeep,

Maybe you should check your hostname.

NiPGetHostByName: 'cgiu1101a.cgiu1101a.in.xxxxxxx.com' not found.

These hosts entries I am having -

cgiu1101a:hspadm 72> more /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1 localhost

Installation is trying to find cgiu1101a.cgiu1101a.in.xxxxx.com (Note that, hostname is 2 times)

Hello Pradeep,

But the ip information for that host cgiu1101a.... is not maintained in /etc/hosts (not 127.0.0.1 for localhost).

Hi Pradeep.

Just do the full system restart and then try again in the same phase. still you are finding same issue update the latest log

Made FQDN changes in profile and installation got finished.
