TRANSPORT INSIDE SAME BW SYSTEM?

Hi gurus,

Is it possible to set up a transport route from dev to dev system (inside same bw system so to speak). We have a need to change a source system assignment for transfer rules (old source system was deleted and now all the rules are pointing to old system which does not exists any more). Idea is to add an entry to mapping table (mapping of the source system names in rsa1) and then transport transfer rules to get them ponting to new (existing) source system instead of the old (deleted) one.

You have to ask basis guys to run transaction BDLS in R/3 (Conversion of logical system names) following a homogeneous system copy.
