When you're creating checklist template with tasks, the custom field groups and tab does not appear for tasks. When the checklist template gets instantiated through project, the custom field groups do appear. There's a consulting note that custom field groups only work for project as object type and not anything else. Can anybody confirm this? If this is 'as designed', any suggestions on how to enable custom field groups for tasks in checklist template? Your help is much appreciated.
Hi Dobin,
no it is not possible to display customer own fields in the check list templates. The reason is, the customer fields are assigned to a defined project type. Caus ethe checkliste template has NO project time at time you maintain the template, we can't decide which fields are necessary of not.
