Equipment Characteristics search in IH08 / IE05 not bringing in results

Hi all,

I am setting up Characteristics and assigning Characteristic values to Equipment in our test client, but am unable to find the equipment using the Class / Characteristic search in IH08 or IE05. I get no results, but when I run the search open, and bring in the Layout for Characteristics, they are there. Is there any configuration or settings in the Characteristic or Class that needs set to allow searching by Characteristics in IH08 / IE05?
