Hi All,
I've a design studio application which uses universe as source and SAP HANA view.
I understand that there is object level security at universe level and there is analytical privilege option in SAP HANA to implement row level security.
If I would want to implement object level security & enable single sign on for my BI launchpad login, what is the right approach to do so?
Thanks in advance,
Balaji
What type of SSO you are planning to implement?
Check these to get n idea

Hi Mani,
thanks for response.
We are implementing SSO using Active Directory. We have successfully configured that part where the users from active directory logs in to BI launch pad automatically.
The tricky part is where to implement row level security. Design studio applications use Universes, in which we can implement row level security for the users in AD. But the same application also uses HANA views which are connected using OLAP connection on a common user that is not in AD.
So, even the restriction we have in universe will not help.
Am I missing something here?
Hi Balaji - I moved this to the BI Platform space for faster response
