How to create a sutype related to the infotype?

can anyone tell me how to create a subtype?

Hi,

You can maintain the subtypes for your infotype in V_T591A using SM31.

that surely helped me.

Now as I created the subtypes if I try to maintain that for a pernr a message is poped saying no subtypes exists for the infotype.

How do I solve this?

Hi,

You have to use the BAdI HR_F4_GET_SUBTYPE to enable f4 help on new subtypes. Go to SE19, create a new implementation for this definition. And you have to put code in the two methods.

i think u have not updated the table T591A with correspondin subtypes for infotypes

Maintain the entries in view V_T591A with subtype number and description along with Time constraint.
