How to hide the search form portal

Hi,

I want to hide the search input field, the search button etc.

Have anybody an idea to realize this!

Hi Tobias,

If you open the toolArea iView and 'Show All' properties you will see the properties:

Enable KM Search and

Enable KM Search Advanced

Select 'No'.

EDIT:

If you search 'Entire Portal Catalog' for object type 'iView' for 'com.sap.portal.toolAreaiView' as 'ID' you'll find the ToolArea iView.

hi,

The search option is in the toolarea iview in default framework page.

You need to bring the com.sap.portal.navigation.toolarea.par to eclipse IDE and edit it to remove the search option.

Go to System Administration>> Support>>Portal Runtime>>Browse Deployment>>WEB-iNF>> Deployment>> pcd

to download the toolarea par.
