Hi experts,
i searched in SDN for a Long time, but not got proper answer.
I'm work with a PO 7.4 and want to transfer files from a Directory of an external Server to another Server by using FTP NFS.
I remember, in PI double-Stack I can make a Network directory-map in the Transaction SM69 of external Servers, isn't it?
Now in PO single-stack, should such Directory-mapping be made in NWA?
Hope you can understand my question.
very appreaciated, if you could give me any hints.
Regards
Sara

Receiver with FTP.
thanks a lot!
nice Weekend!
Hi Sara,
Please go through the below thread
You can use NFS in PI/PO single stack systems, please check with your basis team.
You can map the directories within your landscape / external servers.

Hi Sara,
With sm69 you was able to execute OS command, but in a complex organization with several nodes per server and so on to share directories via NFS between systems is more complicated to share directories.
This work must be done by your Basis & infrastructure & security team. There are several risks to take into account that under our perspective, PI developers, shouldn't be decided. Obviously, we always can offer different alternative about performance and maintainability to the different teams and our clients.

Hi Sara,
When using NFS mode, you shall mount network directory and map it to some local alias using OS level commands on PO hosts, this is not something you can do using NWA. If you tend to use FTP mode, then you don't need to care about network directories mount, since you will access them remotely using FTP protocol.
