Hi Yogesh Pande.

Could you please share the screen shot for the destination that you have created?

Also,  go to the Troubleshooting tab and look for the trace for this exception.

If possible can you provide the trace also.

Hi Yogesh Pande.,

Have you tried using ES4?Its a demo system for trial.. You can test this . In such case, Proxy Type should be "Internet".

As you are using a on premise System, You should use the Proxy Type as "On Premise" and you should have a configuration in the SAP Cloud Connector. Please delete all the additional properties that you have created while creating the destination.

Thanks & Regards,

Mohan

Hell Mohan,

Created the destination with ES4 system without adding any additional properties. Tested it successfully and able to see the ES4 system in Drop down box in Register Services >> Select Destination, however while registering the Services getting same error message as below.

Thanks for your support,

Hi Jitendra,

Thanks for your reply on this, there is no option available to Change HTTP to HTTPS in "TYPE" option on destination screen however I tried using https:// in URL and it didn't work.

Hi Yogesh,

After creating this destination, have you tried to ping this destination. You can do this by "Check Connection" button.

It should be successful. If it is successful, you should get data in the Register Service Table

Thanks & Regards,

Mohan

Hi Mohan,

For connecting to  ES4 system I got the solution in your reply on the other post.

Now for ES4 system I am able to see the list of services, but then could you please share what should be done to get the services from our on-premise banked system?

Yogesh Pande

Hi Yogesh,

The pre-requisite to connect to the On-Premise systems through OData provisioning administration, is to register your systems with the Cloud Connector.

Are your Cloud Connector configurations in place?  Please check the OData provisioning documentation for the same.  This is mentioned in the "Administration" section.  (For some reason, I am unable to copy-paste the documentation link itself).

Hope this helps.

Hi Yogesh and Gulshan

Checking connectiontion from cloud connector to the backend system might be working fine.  But have you also done "Check Connection" on the destination configured in HCP?  Ensure that the hostname specified in the destination URL in the configured destination is same as the "virtual host" specified in the cloud connector.  Also, the Proxy type for the destination must be "On Premise".

Have you taken care of these things?

Thanks,

Kranti

Can you try with BasicAuthentication? Pass backend credentials. WebIDE related properties are nothing to do in HCI destination configuration.

Also make sure you have assigned your userid to both roles GW_Admin and GW_User.

HI Jitendra,

Thanks for your answer. I have tried the above mentioned configs and also deleted WebIDE related settings but still no luck. However with the same settings i was able to connect to SAP DEMO ES4 system and fetch services to register.

PFB the error i am fetting in troubleshooting:

Perhaps it can be a proxy setting error i might not be aware of ?
