JMS Queue Message Recovery

Hello!

We are currently making use of JMS Queues in our SAP ME 6.1 implementation and a question has been raised to me and I can't seem to find any relevant documentation.

In our implementation, any message that encounter an error during processing gets passed on to a custom error queue for investigation and reprocessing at a later time. What happens to the messages should Netweaver AS require a restart? Is there a way to recover the messages should there be some corruption that occurs?

Hello

There is persistent and not persistent mode of a message. In case of persistent mode, it should remain even after Netweaver restart.
