Packaging Material Consumption in HU

Hello Experts ,

I did required configuration and tried different methods . But failed to achieve the below scenario. Looking for your help in this regard.

The scenario is  -  When i use the Packaging material in Outbound delivery or Inbound Delivery ( re packing of HU ) , the system should show the consumption of the packaging material . System is able to create the auto HU, but the packaging material ( EUROPALLET ) is not showing the consumption. Even the stock quantities for Packaging material also system allwoing to pack the HU and allow postings.

Hello Pavan,

because you are talking about consumption of packing material:

I think what you need is the automatic creation of delivery items for the packing materials which you set up in the customizing. Then the packing material will be created as a delivery item and when you post GI the packing material stock will be decreased.

Is it this what you need?

Hi Pavan,

As stated by Manual above, I think you need to maintain the setting for "Generate Delivery items" in the configuration of your packaging material type. This also has a dependency on the Delivery type configurations.

I also think the material type for your packaging material ( VERP) should have the quantity/value updated. Check OMS2.

Make sure you have enough stock of the pallets before you can consume them.

Hi Pavan,

Didn't you get packaging material EUROPALLET in the packing screen while trying to pack via VL02n / VL32n? could you please provide the screenshot of where exactly you are mentioning?
