Problem after installing SAPNW2004sSneakPreviewABAP

Hi

I Installed SAPNW2004sSneakPreviewABAP.

If i am trying to run the NSP Server it first Starting (Showing Blue Color ) and after few seconds it is becoming Yellow in Color. When i cross checked in Process list it is showing one of the process in yellow color i.e.

disp+work.EXE whose description is Dispatcher

and Status is showing as "Running but Dialog Queue standstill"

May be because of this i am unable to log on the SAP System.

One more thing i got a licence key from SAP but when i am trying to intall licence key using saplicence -install this is also not working it is showing following error message.

• SAPLICENSE (Release 700) ERROR ***

ERROR: Can not set DbSl trace function

DETAILS: DbSlControl(DBSL_CMD_IMP_FUNS_SET) failed with return code 20

RC-INFO: error loading dynamic db-library - check environment for:

dbms_type = <db-type> (e.g. ora)

DIR_LIBRARY = <path to db-dll> (e.g. /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run)

Hi,

Seems your db library and saplicense are incompatible. Please check SAP Note 359944.

My engine always shows yellow and I can log on no problem. Did you install the loopback adapter? Also, once we get you logged on, you can apply your license via transaction code slicense.

Did you install the loop back adapter as per the instructions?

The instructions reside in the loopback.htm file which is included in the installation .rar file that you downloaded.

Hi Heilman,

I got that.

Infact now i am able to login into NSP Server.

The problem is when click on Logon it is showing small window waiting for response. I think first time it takes long time to login into server. I thought it is due to error i am unable to login into the system. Thanks Heilman for all your support. I am giving points to you
