File sender channels are not picking the files from FTP server

Hi Experts,

In our production environment File sender channels are running fine. But not polling from long time. So all files are stucked in ftp server it self. When ever we are re starting the channel(stop and start) manually then only files are picking from ftp server. There is no error in the channel. Due to this we are facing problem. Please advise on this to solve the issue.

Hi Anji,

Please check the polling interval set (in Sec and in milisec) for the communication channel. If both of them are set to null then the Adapter is called only once. Check this Configuring the Sender FTP Adapter - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library

Hi Anji,

Check recommendations in a SAP Note 1623337.

In order to ensure PI system can recognize channel is not effectively polling and issue respective notification, please follow recommendations described in a SAP Note 1808222.
