SAP Solution Manager implementing NOTES

Hi experts,

1. I am a newcomer in SolMan and I want to know is it possible to add another system like PI or SAP NW Java stack only to SolMan and implement notes in these systems?

2. I want to apply notes through SAP Solution Manager without SNOTE, SUM only using Solution Manager standard tools, but I can not find guide about this.

3. I have just installed SolMan and I do not understand how to add another system how to do it?

Please help me experts!

To add the systems you have to execute the "Basic Conifguration" and the "Managed System Configuration" in Solution Manager transaction SOLMAN_SETUP.

This will connect the systems with Solution Manager.

There are tools within Solution Manager to get some guidance on which notes to implement (e.g. security notes) in the satellite systems.

However, as others already mentioned, the actual implementation is done in the systems and not in/via Solution Manager.

it is not possible to implement notes in JAVA/PI system through Solution Manager.

I dont think you can distribute SAP notes through solution manager to your remote SAP systems.
