Generic Extraction

HI,

I have created a view for a set of fields for Generic Transactionaldata Extraction,For the generated extract structure i have appended another set of fields now how to populate data for these fields..,

I mean which user exit..

Not sure the following holds good for generic enhancements but for standard object enhancements we use the following user exits

RSAP0001 enhancement.

FM EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 for Transaction data

EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 for master data and

EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003 for Texts

I have seen people using the Infoset queries for generic extraction as given by amit link.

Hi,

for sure you can use the same exit for the enhancement, but as you are already dealing with a generic extractor, why not using a function module to do all the selections?

Hi,

In the view u don't have any option like append structure. Append structure option avilable in the table level only. View is nothing but combination multiple tables. When u requried u can append fields in the table level . That will auto matically reflected to u r extract structure.
