SPAM_Confirm_PATCH -> warning_status:R

Hi all,

I installed GW_Core componet in my ECC DEV system through SAINT, and upgraded patches through SPAM. Right now i stuck up in

Import_Phase : DDIC_ACTIVATION.

SPAM status  : showing red color (ERROR STOP).

When i click on Import Queue it is giving me the error  -->

Internal error : SPAM_Confirm_PATCH -> WRONG_STATUS:R.

PLZ. help me  in solving this.

Hi Sandeep,

Please delete old entries from SMQ1 and SMQ2, make sure there are no old/failed updates as well.

Run RDDNEWPP report to schedule RDDIMPDP job with DDIC user in 000 client.

Dear Sandeep,

Kindly paste the log or paste the screenshot of log file.

just follow the below steps.

Run the tcode /$SYNC

Retry the steps and update the log files

If the above does not resolve the issue , then confirm the queue and retry the steps.

Hi Ashutosh,

May i know which log file i have to provide.

SLOG, ALOG or ULOG.

after running the tcode : /$SYNC,  it provided the message : All buffers were reset.

Kindly follow the below steps

- Confirm the queue

- Retry the steps.

if the above doesn't work , then try the below option

- logoff from the system

- Logon again

- Run the transaction SPAM

- Click on the import button.

Dont worry. Can you please paste the log SLOG.

In the SPAM screen , you will find a log button, click on it and the expand the log for more details.

Have you try to confirm the queue from the following path

GOTO --> STATUS --> QUEUE --> Confirm Queue

Phase CHECK_REQUIREMENTS: Explanation of Errors

Open Data Extraction Requests

The system has found a number of open data extraction requests. These

should be processed before starting the object import process, as

changes to DDIC structures could prevent data extraction requests from

being read after the import, thus causing them to terminate. You can

find more information about this problem in the SAP Notes 1081287,

1083709 and 328181.

Call the Customizing Cockpit data extraction transaction and process all

open extraction requests.

Hi Sandeep,

I think there is some entries in MCEX* queues.

Can you paste the screenshot of transaction SMQ1 and deletes the entries from MCEX* queue.
