Star ratings in Match column of candidate Assignment or candidate search??

Dear Experts,

Greetings!!

I just faced strange issue in E-recruitment.

Its on EHP4.

When Candidate applies to a job posting and release his/her profile, Star ratings are not visible  either in Candidate Search or Candidate assignment !!

It was appearing some time ago, suddenly stars are not appearing in any of the candidate's case.

Please help to diagnose this issue.

NOTE: Search task "cdcysch" is not used anymore, because it is not possible anymore to

   store reference search variants along with this search task. Therefore search task

    "cdcycandsearch" has to be used for the candidacy ranking.

There are entries available in tables "cdcysch".

Shall i delete all entries stated "cdcysch" as even in debugging i found search task as "cdcysch".

Depends what you have choosen as ranking method - a questionnaire or the requisition criteria?

Thanx for your kind reply.

I have chosen Requisition Criteria as ranking method. Even I create search quries and chose that search query as Ranking Method.

I also figured out that stars are appearing in Match column of CANDIDATE SEARCH.

I also crossed check from SEARCH/PROPOSED CANDIDATES, stars are appearing in search, but when i assign those star ranked candidate to requisition,"MATCH Column displays blank".

Match Column in Candidate assignment screen i results into no stars/blank field weather apply directly to requisition, chose requisition method as ranking method or assign candidates via search/propose

So, stars are not visible in Match column of CANDIDATE ASSIGNMENT...

Please guide me to resolve sam.

Please let me know how to achieve the Match column for Candidate Search functionality.

I am trying to bring the match filled but its coming blank.

Hi Pran,

And those candidates really have the same values assigned than what is set in the requisition data?

You see what values are mapped where in table T77RCF_MATCHFLDS. (T77RCF_MATCHFLDC is for custom entries)

Hi Nicole,

thank you for your prompt response.

Education, qualification are mapped with their corosponding values in these tables.

Ex : Education type, Level etc are mapped for Education, just like that Qualification criteria is mapped.

I created search query, get those candidates with full match(Candidate Search- stars are appearing), and assign to requisition and then use Ranking Method - Search Query.

It shows Blank in Match.

I also tried a case where requisition criteria was matching,but when checked Candidate assignment screen , same results("blank in Match").

I also debugged application and figured out one class :

cl_hrrcf_co_search_pl=>rank_candidacies

Here this information is written :

I also found that search task for candidate assignment screen is cdcysch in system.

We are on EHP4 sp4.

I also debugged down and came to know that candidate hitlist is not getting any value in Ranking field and that's why it is showing blank result.

Parameter : gc_searctask_reqcdcy in class "cl_hrrcf_co_search_pl".

Its value is fixed "cdcysch"..

I am not able to understand why this is happening and results were coming some time back and now its not showing stars in "Match".

Please guide me next.

Hi Pran,

If you use 604 SP04 it's a really old SP level and hence, missing a lot of crucial functions and corrections.

I would strongly advice to do a search for eg. ranking in Support Portal and check if all notes were implemented already - like 1446248.

Hi Nicole,

Finally, we are able to see stars ratings in Candidate assignment.

But still, we are only able to see 5 stars(100%) or 0 star (0%).

We have also applied note you suggested "1446248", which states same " system shows 0 % or 100 %"

Trex Version we are using is 7.10.40.

Component is ERECRUIT 604 SP4 .

Can you please help to figure out why system is not showing 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars ??

We are really stuck on this from long time.

Looking for your precious thoughts on same.

Hi Raj,

I just checked your post.

As Nicole said, it depends on Component level and trex version.

Candidate Search comes with AND/OR combinations, Search query criteria etc.

I am not sure about differences in stars, as i myself stuck in same.
