Check BP attributes in transaction BP

Hello!

I'd like to add additional checks for BP attribute values and stop BP saving if this checks are not validated. How can I do that? I looked through BUPA_FURTHER_CHECKS BAdI, but it seemed not to be called in BP transaction. Have you got any idea?
