eCATT error

Hi Guys,

While running the already created and tested eCATT scripts, I am getting the following error.

"Control data is obsolete, rerecord (VERBS-NAME: CREATEOBJECT CATT: SHOWDATA

Callno: 000027)

Message no. TT377"

Can you please tell me why does this error occur and how to correct it.

This error is occuring for many of the scripts.

Please suggest what should be done to avoid this error.

Your suggestions will be of great help for me.

Hi Sidharth,

It seems there is some error in data.Try to record the transaction with different set of data and try to execute the transaction.Also,let me know exactly where you are getting the error.I mean while recording or while executing it.Then I will be in a position to help you out in sorting the problem.

Also.while executing the script,dont try to press any of the buttons in the running screen.That might also create the error "Error in control".

If you got some clue,reward me with some points.

Hello,

I was wondering whether any of you guys might be able to help on this error :

I am trying to run a eCATT on ECC 5.0, IS-OIL Solutions on MM. The test catalogue package is MCOE Application Test CATT 472.When I run the eCATT there is no error.It creates a material number after several pop ups. But when I return back after the run it shows red light. The error log message is : S0601913 [02:06 MIN]

Expected Message 800

ATT355 Transaction MM01 Ended Without Message

Error in eCATT Command TCD MM01.

Any suggestion would be appeciated.

Hi Vishwakarma,

I am getting this error while executing the script.

The scripts have been running fine earlier with the same data. And I am not trying to press any button while recording.

Please help me if you understood the scenario now.

U find some Info in SAP Note : 909628

III. eCATT Error: Obsolete Control Data

Symptom: If an eCATT runs with status "red" (error), check the

eCATT log with regard to the BC Sets that have been activated by

this eCATT. The error message is "obsolete control data #."

Solution:

Check the eCATT log.

Select the Foreground Flag (FG) and activate the project again.

Run the activity in foreground mode. If the data was already created correctly the eCATT will stop and inform you that the data is already there. In this case the error can be ignored.

If the BC set has been activated successfully, set the status manually to green.

Activate the project again.

This SAP Note has some more Info : 378455

If CATT Z_SP_46C_SDB_IS01 (#72) terminates with the error message TT377 'Transaction control data is obsolete, rerecord (&)', proceed as follows:

Caution:Make sure that you are logged on in logon language ENGLISH in the system to carry out these steps.

Call Transaction IS01.

Choose the "Step-by-Step Guide".

Select CREATE Symptom.

Choose the "ENTER" button.

Select symptom type "ISP:Customer Support".

Set the flag "Automatically create a linked solution".

Choose the "ENTER" button.

Enter "SFW" in the left part of the field 'Code Symptom'.

Enter "APP" in the right part of the field 'Code Symptom'.

Enter the following text in the text field for symptom:"cannot find the menu path for the new cross application time sheet".

Enter "SM" in the left field for 'Priority'.

Enter "SOFTWARE" for 'Application Area'.

Choose the "Release" button on the right above the text field for symptom.

Enter the following text in the text field for the solution:"currently, there is no path available!You can get an access by executing transaction 'CATSXT' for the application itself and transaction 'CATSXC' for Customizing".

Choose the "Release" button on the right above the text field for solution.

Choose the "SAVE" button.

The actions executed here REPLACE the import of CATT Z_SP_46C_SDB_IS01. You can now continue processing the next CATT.
