Define PRT Status

Hi,

In IMG->PRT- General Data- Define PRT status.

We will be defining different PRT Statuses (Definition of - Allocation for Planning and Allocation for Production).

Could some one help me- How to assign these Statuses to Equipment PRT in IE25?

How this statuses are useful in business?
