GRC PC 10.1: Deactivating PDF Attachments (OWP) in PC Email Notifications

Hi Experts,

I wanted your help on a particular scenario.

In GRC PC 10.1, OWP (Offline Workflow Processing) is implemented along with Email notifications. Thus, what happens is that the notification email which gets generated every time a Planner task is created, it includes the relevant AIF (Adobe Interactive Forms) as well which can be filled up to complete the task in an offline manner.

Now, is there any way to deactivate the OWP functionality and just keep the standard notification emails. So that whenever a task is created only the email notification is generated and not the AIF as well.

I think that just deactivating the OWP job and not maintaining the AIF template mapping to the tasks might do the trick but wanted some confirmation on this.

Please let me know.

    In Spro follow the path

    governanace, Risk, Compliance ->Process Control ->Offline workflow Process ->Configure OWP Business Scenario.

    There is an field Ind., uncheck it for all case types and then OWP mails will not be sent.

      Hi Smita,

      Thank you for the reply. Could you please help me on the below questions ?

      1. I have checked this configuration, so apart from this do we not also need to cancel the running OWP background job and delete the OWP Internet email exit rule in "Governanace, Risk, Compliance ->Process Control ->Offline Workflow Process->Configure Inbound Email Process (Tcode: SO50).

      2. I also wanted to confirm regarding the email notification template. Once all these settings are maintained and AIF's are no longer sent with notification emails, then the email template being used would automatically switch from 'GRFN_OWP_DELIVER' (being used for OWP emails) to 'GRPC_NOTIF_INBOX' (used for PC notification emails). This happens automatically, Correct ? Is any other configuration required ?

      3. The configuration for maintaining the PC work inbox link in the notification email is done through Tcode SWNCONFIG (General Settings -> INBOX_LINK_URL). Once maintained here, the work inbox link would automatically appear in every notification email or is any other configuration required ?
