Hello All,

Unfortunately  it is not possible to make connection to my SAP CAL Instance. Maybe you can assist and tell what you are missing or what I have to do to connect?

I have followed the three steps as mentioned in the document “SAP Solution Manager 7.2 in the SAP Cloud Appliance Library (SAP CAL) provided by Evan Stoddard’s blog http://scn.sap.com/community/cloud-appliance-library/blog/2016/01/18/sap-solution-manager-72-coming-... and linked presentation https://mdocs.sap.com/mcm/public/v1/open?shr=8TrKpRTPmeQQoLTQ6DPGis95h09G4RmwOjGqXt9yUF4

See screenshots below.

Kind regards,

Hello Frans,

There could be two reasons for this problem.

1. You are behind a firewall that does not allow you to open a connection to 52.90.27.66:3200.

2. The ABAP AS did not start for some reason.

The quick solution would be to recreate the instance. Alternatively you could login to the OS via SSH and check the AS status from there. If the system is down please send the /var/tmp/appliance* files to cal.admin@sap.com to let us investigate the initial startup of your system.

Best regards,

Recreate the instance was helpful.

Thanks,

Frans
