Restrict stock category for storage location

Dear experts,

we have a scenario that only IM is implemented, no WM and QM. there is a storage location for backflush and we want to restrict the storage category for it so that only unrestricted material can be moved and stored here.

does anyone know how to do the configuration?

There is no customizing task to support this requirement. A storage location is nothing else than the fields available in T001L table.

If you want to limit the usage of a storage location to a certain stock category then you have to implement the checks in a user exit and/or BADI.
